About the Courses
Our January start option allows you to achieve our quality Honours degree in 3.5 years (42 months) of study. We are excited to offer this option as an alternative to the United Kingdom tradition of starting degrees in September.
Starting in January allows you to prepare fully for travels to Dundee and removes the time pressure of arranging visas, travel, and finances as well as English language requirements. Of course, you may also want to start in January so that you can have a short break before returning to study. Starting in January also has a financial benefit. You pay lower fees in your first year and you enter the job market after only three and a half years.

In this course you will examine how businesses start, operate, adapt, and grow. You will learn how to put business management techniques and models into practice and understand their limitations.
Business leaders and specialists in different areas will share the challenges they face in their organisations.
In addition, you will be able to do a short placement with a local firm to gain practical experience. Our team also offer an extensive list of summer placements.
As well as studying traditional business management subjects, we offer opportunities to explore alternative, but increasingly important areas, such as digital and business innovation, consumer experience in a digital world, economics of an unequal world, and business start-up.
Our Business Society works closely with the School of Business to link you with the business world, through an annual series of workshops, guest talks, and career support.
